Last week, Weebly unveiled its new site design and a few apps you may be interested in.  How does this affect you?

Well for starters, it has a new look and feel that may take you a few minutes to get familiar with.  As you make changes to your webpage, you will notice that the building blocks look a little different, but all the same features are still there.
Another change that you will see is that Weebly now has a Android and iPhone app capable of editing your website on the go.  Before there was just an iPad app, but now it is open up to a lot more sources.  This allows teachers to take pictures or add content while in class for quicker posting.  Why would a teacher post items to their webpage in class?  I know many teachers that take pictures of student work, field trips, assemblies, etc., and do not have to worry about transferring those pictures to their computer.  Take the picture, and post it to your webpage.  It's that SIMPLE.  Or there are many teachers who take class notes on their iPad.  These notes can then be posted to the classroom webpage for absent students or parents to view at any time.

Overall, these changes have made it easier for teachers to create a good looking webpage with the little extra free time they have.  Check out the new Weebly today.
