Adobe Draw

Adobe Draw is an app that has been around for a while, but tech leader, Tony Vincent, showed me a way to use it that ROCKS!  Below, you can find his video of how exactly to use Adobe Draw to recreate any image.  Using this app to recreate images, maps, selfies, etc., has a lot of great purposes.  Here are just a few reasons why you and your students should be doing this:
  • Create a library of your own images that you can insert into your work.  This makes all of your images your own and free of copyright protection (that is if you are recreating pictures that you took yourself).
  • Your students want to make something.  This is all hands-on, and gives your students a sense of accomplishment and a boost of confidence in themselves.
  • Not all students are artists, but this process of recreating images is simple.
  • If your students are writing stories about themselves, this is an awesome way to add graphics to their stories.
